Best PC Gaming Headsets For Under 50 - PC Gaming Headphones Under 50 Bucks

Plantronics GameCom 380 Gaming Stereo Headset - Compatible with PC
Plantronics GameCom 380 Gaming Stereo Headset - Compatible with PC
Gamecom is the gaming branch from the Plantronics range. The Plantronics Gamecom 380 gaming headset is my preferred PC only headset. A quick note to that you may be interested in: An adapter can be purchased for this headset which will convert it to a USB headset. Now with that out of the way, lets get into why I think the Plantronics Gamecom 380 is one of the better gaming headsets for under $50. Firstly it does a pretty affective job at blocking out the surrounding noises, making for a smooth uninterrupted gaming session. My preferred method. The headset itself is rather durable and isn't made out of that cheap plastic you could expect for such a cheap gaming headset. Comfort isn't an issue with the 380's thanks to the soft padded ear covers which have a smooth velvet like feel. Your ears wont burn and overheat with these gentle ear cups. As for sound, they do a considerably good job considering these only cost about $30 or so. Which to me is a bargain. The deep bass goes well with the stereo sound and they also make for a good general set of headphones for music and especially movies on your computer. For a couple bucks over $50 you can get the 380's big brother: The Plantronics Gamecom 780 and it's highly recommended that you check out the Plantronics Gamecom 380 vs 780 comparison review.

Turtle Beach - Ear Force P11 Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset - PS3 (Discontinued by Manufacturer)
For the Best PS3 Gaming Headset Under $50 you can't look past the PS3 Ear Force P11 Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset. Compatible with both the PS3 and the PC, these 50mm speakers will keep you gaming for longer then you could imagine. The Earforce P11 really brings value to the table with these sturdy headsets. The features combined with a sturdy frame make the price for them seem drastically low. Nothing wrong with this let me tell you. Price aside, the P11 headset is one comfortable fit. The big soft padded ear covers fit easily over any ones ears, even with glasses on. Considering how sturdy the frame is built, the P11 is considerably light on your head making for unlimited hours of pain free gaming. For the mic, it works a treat. Crystal clear reception on both ends and the voice control feature is handy for adjusting the volume of your voice so your not having to scream all the time to be heard. The sound from this beast is AMAZING. Seriously you will hear sounds that the conventional TV just can't produce. The ability to hear enemy footsteps or a reloading gun from far away gives you a massive advantage you may never have known existed. The variable bass boost is awesome and the amplified sound means you won't miss a beat. Overall a great buy for a PS3 headset under $50 that can be used on both the PlayStation 3 and your computer. Being picky here to find negatives to say other then not 360 compatible and it's corded. But you won't get a good wireless gaming headset under $50. Plus this headset comes with a 12 foot cable which is ample for gaming.

Still Cant Find What Your Looking For?

Number 1 Source For Gamers

It can be difficult at times trying to make a decision on what product is best for your needs. I know! It takes me forever to make up my mind on what should I buy...this one or maybe that one. Fortunately these headsets are designed for gaming and only cost up to $50 or so. So it's not a huge investment after all.

Anyway I want to let you know of a site that specializes in gaming headsets. In particular the category of 50 buck headsets where you can find possibly your perfect headset whether it be for the PS3, X Box one, PC, mobile gaming ets. You will find them below when you click on the image where it will take you to the under 50 dollar category. But there's more to venture into so check it out for alternative ideas.

Main Elements To Look For

When trying to find a headset for a gamer whether it's for your self or whether it's a gift for a loved one. Certain elements need to be met. The most important factor which you must consider is compatibility. This is especially important if your buying a headset for your kids or perhaps a sibling or friend. It's pointless getting them a PC only headset if they don't use a PC for gaming. Or getting them a dedicated console headset when they only use a PC/Mac for example.

Price is normally my next objective, however as we are talking about headsets in the $50 range, this subject is covered. So next would be comfort and durability. Now it's pretty hard to tell how comfortable a headset will be with out actually trying them on. So reading other gamers reviews is crucial in your decision. Pictures can also point out certain padded areas like on the headband and ear cups. Which will give you a good idea as to whether they are remotely comfortable st all.

Normally with this sort of equipment I always go with trusted brands. Since you may be a parent looking to buy a headset for your gaming Son or Daughter this Christmas, you may not be totally informed as to which brands are trustworthy. You can be rest assured that all the brands represented on this page are high quality. But for quick reference these a few reliable names you can trust, Turtle Beach (Ear Force), Plantronics Gamecom, Tritton, Logitech, Astro Gaming.
